Project Description

A WEEKEND OF HEALING, CONNECTION, AND HONORING THE SACRIFICES OF HEROES AND THEIR FAMILIES

The Open Door Foundation has initiated the “Weekend for Families of Heroes” program in the Ternopil Region. This remarkable initiative offers a valuable chance to support and assist the families of our esteemed heroes. Additionally, it serves as a meaningful way to express gratitude and demonstrate our unwavering support for these deserving individuals and their loved ones.

Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

The healing power of God is emphasized in Psalm 147:3, where it is proclaimed that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. This reminder gives us confidence that God is able to bring healing and restoration to wounded hearts.

May God’s comfort, strength, and guidance be with the families who have lost loved ones in war, and may our team be blessed with wisdom, compassion, and the ability to provide support and encouragement during this meaningful weekend. May it be a time of healing, connection, and honoring the sacrifices made by these heroes and their families.

The “Weekend for Families of Heroes” is not just a retreat; it is a time for healing, connection, and honoring the sacrifices made by these heroes and their families. Through a carefully curated program of activities, discussions, and remembrance ceremonies, we aim to create an environment where these remarkable individuals can find solace, share their stories, and build a strong support network. It is a weekend dedicated to fostering resilience, restoring hope, and celebrating the indomitable spirit that defines our heroes and their families.
