Kids Camp 2012

Every morning the team and the children had worship time. Also, we included a golden memory verse. The children had a morning exercise and divided into groups for team building and lessons.

The team had a great idea to intergrade bible lessons with games so the children would be able to understand and have fun at the same time.

On arriving at the orphan home on July 14, a week before we were told that we could only stay until the 25 of July. We as a team prayed about the matter because we had the event planned until the 30th of July. After a couple of days with the kids, we were heartbroken to let them know that we can only stay a few more days and leave. All the kids ran to the staff and the director and begged that we would stay longer with them. After the kids begged for two days the director allowed us to stay. It was a blessing to both the children and us. We can see how God works even in little things like softens the hearts of the staff and directors.

Gave out toys, books, crayons, and games to the kids. The children came in the store that we made and picked out what they wanted, it was very exhilarating for them.
